The Women of Katy Program is committed to empowering all women in the Katy community through a series of quarterly events focused on business and personal development. Our mission is to offer resources and opportunities for women at various stages of their lives—whether they are seeking to change careers, advance in their current roles, start a new business, or embark on personal growth.
Our goal is to raise funds to provide sponsorships for leadership programs and other valuable opportunities that support women's advancement. By facilitating these connections and providing essential resources, we aim to help women prepare for and shape a successful and fulfilling future.
Stacy Jacob’s career is a testament to her deep passion for entrepreneurship and business development. With over a decade in the hospitality industry, she has sharpened her skills with esteemed brands like Walt Disney World, Hilton, and Marriott. Her expertise encompasses business plans, marketing strategies, loan packaging, and SBA financing, showcasing her comprehensive approach to fostering business success.
Stacy’s professional journey took a pivotal turn at the University of Houston Texas Gulf Coast Small Business Development Center Network. As a Business Advisor and later Director, she was a linchpin in supporting Fort Bend County businesses, helping them navigate challenges and seize growth opportunities. Her role at the LSBDC Business Continuity Center at Nicholls State University further cemented her reputation, where she assisted businesses in recovering from natural disasters and economic disruptions.
Her entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when she founded Mosquito Squad of Louisiana Bayou Region, where she managed marketing, client relationships, and operations, applying her business acumen to deliver effective pest control solutions.
Currently, as Vice President of Business Development at the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce, Stacy continues to make a significant impact. Since early 2023, she has been pivotal in supporting and growing local businesses through strategic planning and community engagement. Her passion for business has been a positive addition to the Katy Area Chambers team!
Beyond her professional achievements and love of coffee. Stacy treasures her time with her husband, Jeremy, and their three daughters. The family shares a special bond over their love for Disney, making frequent trips to their favorite park whenever the opportunity arises. Stacy’s dedication to both her family and her career reflects her belief in the joy of balancing professional success with cherished family moments.
In 2018, Olivia Martin and her husband, Kyle, took a leap of faith and launched KTX Window Cleaning with just a squeegee, a bucket, a truck, and $500. Starting from their garage, they transformed their small startup into a thriving enterprise, now employing 12 people and operating from a 4,000 sq ft office. Their business has proudly served over 8,000 customers in the Katy/Fulshear area, earning a reputation for excellence and reliability.
Since 2019, Olivia has been a driving force within the Katy Business Association (KBA), holding key roles including Marketing Director, Vice President, and now President. Her leadership in the KBA reflects her passion for community engagement and supporting local businesses. Olivia's strategic marketing initiatives and innovative approaches have significantly increased the association's membership and community presence.
Before her entrepreneurial journey, Olivia spent 15 years in high-end retail management. She worked as a Boutique Merchandise Buyer’s Assistant, attending Dallas Market and honing her skills in social media marketing and consistently surpassing sales goals. In recognition of her achievements, Olivia completed the prestigious Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program and is proud to be an alumna. She was recognition as one of HCC Center of Entrepreneurship 2022 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year.
Olivia's true pride and joy is her family. She treasures spending time with her husband, Kyle, and their three children, traveling to destinations like the beach and river, where they enjoy fishing, kayaking, and creating lasting memories. Olivia journey is a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit, leadership skills, and unwavering commitment to her family and community. From starting a business in her garage to becoming a respected leader in the Katy area, Olivia's story is one of perseverance, passion, and success.
